Gambling Community Benefit Funding 

 QLD Basketball Organisations Share over $80,000 in Funding

Four basketball clubs and associations across Queensland will receive a share of $81,915 in funding from Round 104 of the Queensland Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF).

This time round basketball organisations had funding approved for a number of different projects including facility upgrades and purchasing equipment.

The GCBF is Queensland’s largest one-off grants program for community-based, not-for-profit organisations, with grants between $500 to $35,000 available to help community groups provide services and leisure activities around the state.

Associations and clubs have five funding opportunities throughout the year to submit their GCBF applications:
- 28 February (29 February in a leap year)
- 30 April
- 30 June
- 31 August
- 31 October

Applications for the next round of the GCBF (Round 106) are now open and will close at 11:59pm on 31 August 2020.
